What is EDDM?
Every Door Direct Mail is a USPS program that delivers a piece to every address on the carrier routes you choose. You pick neighborhoods instead of names, which makes it the simplest way for a local business to reach every home in its service area.
How much do EDDM postcards cost?
With us, a 9x12 postcard printed and mailed to 5,000 homes is $2,999 All Inclusive, about 60 cents a home with postage included. Runs go from 250 to 20,000 homes, and you can see the price for every run on our 9x12 postcard printing page.
Why a 9x12 postcard instead of a regular one?
A 9x12 card has twice the space of a 6x9 and four and a half times a standard 4x6 postcard. That room fits a real offer, photos, reviews, and a QR code, and the card is big enough that it doesn't hide between letters.
Do I need a mailing list or a permit?
No. Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) goes to every address on the USPS carrier routes you pick, so there's no list to buy, and on our All Inclusive package there's no permit or paperwork for you to handle. We print, bundle, pay the postage, and drop the cards at the Post Office for your routes.
Can you design the card for me?
Yes. Our designers make the whole card for $60. Send your logo, your offer, your phone number, and a few photos, and you get a proof to approve before anything prints. Already have a design? Send a print-ready PDF and we check it for you.
How long does it take?
Printing takes 4 to 6 days once you approve your proof, then 2 to 3 days to reach the Post Office. USPS doesn't guarantee a delivery window for Marketing Mail, but in our experience cards reach homes 3 to 5 business days after the drop-off.
Can I mail only homes, not businesses?
Yes. Our route map has a "Homes only" switch, so the cards go to residential addresses on your routes. You can also shade the map by household income and pick the neighborhoods that fit your customers.
What is the smallest order?
Runs start at 250 cards, and they go up to 20,000. USPS needs at least 200 pieces in an EDDM Retail mailing, and most first mailings are 1,000 to 5,000 homes.
