9x12 Postcard Method Live Call - This coach will make you $5000 next month!

Mitchell TeboSeptember 22, 202533:54

A 9x12 Method live call on alternating cards between two towns, choosing 5,000 over 10,000 homes, building lead lists by hand, and hiring on commission.

Key takeaways

  • For two nearby towns, Mitchell suggests alternating the card each month, since $500 every two months is an easier sell and advertisers can rotate towns.
  • He prefers 5,000-home cards over 10,000 because small business owners watch their monthly budget, not just the value per home.
  • Build lead lists by hand from Google business listings, since purchased lists often hold outdated emails that bounce and push you toward spam.
  • Before running your whole list through a cold email platform, send to your own addresses first to see if messages land in the promotions tab.
  • If you hire help, keep it commission based with someone fully committed, or use low-cost virtual assistants to send emails.

This 9 by12 method live group call was flawless. And if you guys aren't already part of the community, you should probably join so you don't miss the call next week. Enjoy. >> So, have you How's business for you? >> Well, I'm just getting started and I've gotten my website together.

I've gotten my my spot. We've got I was I'm still vacasillating about the 10,000 or the 5,000, but then I'm thinking I'm going to solve that by offering them a 5,000 and another 5,000. >> Maybe do three cards at one time, >> you know. >> Yeah. So, you would rotate them.

>> That's what I'm thinking. Two each month and maybe do them every other month instead of every month. >> Yeah. Is that better or is it better to go monthly or? >> Honestly, I if you want an easier time selling ads, buy monthly might be a good way to go because I mean it's a it's a it's a much easier sell to tell them it's $500 every two months versus $500 every month.

And then they also have the opportunity to rotate to the other location if they wanted to do it monthly. So you could just do like one card this month, the other town the next month, this town again this month, the other town the next month and rotate it like that rather than doing two in one month if that makes sense. >> That does make sense. >> Yeah. And then they can if they want to bounce around they can.

Otherwise they can join bimonthly which is a good thing. >> I have to talk to Dusty about how to or Dustin about how to uh make that the website. I believe he does have options for multi multi-town websites. I believe he does. >> He does.

He does. >> He's good, right? Is he good to work with? >> Oh, yeah. He's He's great.

>> He is. Yeah. What was I going to say? Yeah. The I definitely do recommend 5,000.

Although me and Jake probably disagree on this based on his most recent video or one of his most recent videos. In my opinion, the value, there's no question. Let's say you're charging $750 or $800 for a slot for 10,000 cards. There's no question the value of that is better than $500 for 5,000 cards. But in a small business's eyes, they're not only looking at value, they're also very concerned about their budget.

So, and honestly, I think at that point, it's a little bit out of their budget to pay $850 a month, potentially $800 a month versus 500. That's a much easier sale for a monthly subscription. self. In my opinion, they're more a little bit more focused on budget, so the $500 is a bit of an easier sale. >> Well, your opinion is very correct because, you know, being a small business owner most of my life, yeah, you can't it's hard to put out that kind of money >> all the time.

>> So, that makes a lot of sense. And, you know, also Jake's makes a lot of sense, too, because at 10,000 cards, he's printing them. He makes more money. >> That's fair. Yeah.

>> Yeah. Take a look at this. Take a look at this view real quick. >> That's a pretty view. >> And where are you exactly?

>> I'm in southern Maine. >> Maine. Okay. >> The most underrated state. >> That's one of the lakes then, right?

>> No, this is the Atlantic Ocean. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. That's right. I'm >> on the East Coast.

>> That's right. You're in lobster country. Yep. Oh, yeah. We love our lobster.

>> You see, you should have like a a convention up there or something and we all come have lobster with you. >> I have been, you know, considering it. I've been thinking about it. It would be pretty cool to have everybody somewhere. But >> I just so happen to be an event organizer, too, just so you know.

>> You're an event organizer, you said? >> Yes, I did that most. >> Good to know. All right. Well, you'll get a free invite if you help me if you help me organize it.

>> I'll help you. >> Awesome. But yeah, everyone's definitely gonna have to try lobster when you're up here. >> Oh, yeah. That'd be one one of the meals one night.

>> Absolutely. Yeah. >> So, Mitch, >> what's going on, Dan? >> How far are you from Kery? >> I am literally the next town up.

>> Okay. >> Yeah. Why do you ask? Uh, I've been to Kery three times. >> Oh, yeah.

>> Warren's Lobster House. >> Yeah. Yeah, I've been there. Very famous. >> It's kind of our our famous or our favorite Maine restaurant.

>> That's awesome. Are you near Maine? >> No, I'm in Oklahoma. >> Oh, wow. But you come out here pretty often.

>> Yeah, not very often. Just we have a few times, that's all. >> Gotcha. It's beautiful. >> Good choice.

Yeah, >> it is. Yeah. >> See, we got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11 people on. What's going on with everybody else? How's business?

Any struggles? Any stories? Any interesting things you figured out? Any strategies you figured out that are helping a lot? Anybody running Facebook ads?

>> Yes, I am. I started last Friday like we discussed Mitch. >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah, it's Clarence. So far, three three leads following up with him.

>> Yes, sir. Awesome. Yeah, I remember. Good to see you on here again. We just talked.

>> Is that just yesterday? Two days ago. >> Two days ago. >> Two days ago. Yeah.

and Clarence, I'm working on that on that lead list as soon as I'm finishing up that lead list as soon as I'm done with this call, by the way. >> I saw your email. >> Yeah, it's not a quick process. But it's worth it because when you buy those lead lists online that are pre-made, most of the time you're getting like decades old data. Like these lists have existed for like 20 years.

So a ton of the emails don't even exist anymore. So [snorts] people be wary of that. like buying leads online because that's why manually collecting is the way to go because especially from Google business listings because they're much more likely to still be in business. The emails will still exist so your emails won't start going to spam when they bounce all over the place. >> Okay.

>> Yeah, >> Mitchell, >> what's up? >> That brings up an interesting question. I was thinking about using one of those cold call emailing companies to send my emails. Do I I have like 15 emails already that I haven't started warming up yet, but I was going to start on tomorrow. Should I use one of those companies or should I just do it on my own?

>> By companies, do you mean like a platform that'll just automate the sending? >> Yeah, it's Yeah, it's like a It's not a constant contact, but it's a cold one that they do cold stuff and they they actually warm it up and they do all of it for you. >> Interesting. So, I would test it because what I've noticed with the with the platforms and sending from the platforms is I mean I'm not an expert on this, but it seems like the email providers have seemed to caught on. So, a lot of your emails might end up going to the promotions tab.

Like obviously when I send out emails, probably all of my emails go to your promotions tab because I have to use one of those one of those softwares. But so I would test it like put your put your name first in line. Put a few of your email addresses first in line to see if see if they're going to your promotions tab before you end up sending it off to your entire list. >> Okay, good advice. Thank you.

>> Yeah, and I mean people still do read their their promotions tab, but it's going to be a lower percentage. So it's not going to be as as many touches. But if it's cheap and it gets it up last a ton of emails, can't necessarily hurt if even if it is going to their promotions tab. But you might afterwards, you might not sell out a full card that way. And afterwards, you might have to do something a little more direct.

>> Okay. >> What's everyone else think of this new this new video call thing? No more Zoom calls. Now we got school calls. All right.

Everyone hates it. That's fine. >> Does it Does it record for you? >> Yeah, it does. if you you have to manually select record, but yeah, it does.

>> And then does it have the annotation tools like um like Zoom would have those add-ons where it would transcribe for you? >> Um yes, I believe because you record it and then it gets saved to school and then school just added a feature where you can transcribe any video on school. So you would be able to transcribe it then. I don't think it has like built-in like you know summaries but you would just basically take the transcript and tell chat GPT to summarize it for you. >> Right.

Okay. >> So does this just started? >> Is this the first time? >> Are you This is the first time we're doing it on the school calls. We we've been done doing it on the Zoom Zoom calls before.

>> Awesome. This is my first time being on any call. So >> welcome. You chose a good one. >> It made it so much easier.

Thanks. Yeah, it made it so much easier because like you put the notification on and and it you just hit live and it that's pretty neat. >> Exactly. Yeah, it's it's a whole lot less annoying when you don't have to open open up a whole new app and everything, too. Zoom opens up like five different things when you click on a Zoom link.

Is anyone here on the Oh, go ahead, Dan. >> Oh, I was just gonna make a school comment. I was really excited when, you know, Alex was doing his live and he said, "Oh, we're making school $9 a month." I'm like, "Well, that sounds great." But turns out it's a very paired down version of school, right?

It's like the hobby hobby version. >> Totally. And I mean the biggest thing is if you're charging for your community, it's basically not worth it because the transaction fee is 10%. >> So that's that's where they they get you. But it's like it's good for free communities if you don't need much functionality.

>> Yeah. I just didn't I didn't think that was very well presented when he didn't say, "Oh, by the way, we're we're having another layer or another tier for $9 a month." I understand that, but >> it was like, "Our $99 product is now $9 a month." Okay. >> Yeah.

That got me excited, too. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Little misleading, but a little >> probably got them got them a lot of clicks.

>> Uhhuh. >> Now, is anyone on the our local spotlight platform? Anybody here have a landing page or even just a pin? >> I do. >> Cool.

Now, do you have any >> I do. >> Do you guys have any feedback? What would you like to see next? Because we just built out a much better blog section. So now I can keep blasting out blog posts for everybody, hopefully bringing in some organic traffic finally.

But in terms of features, is there anything that you guys would want to see next that would help you guys in your business? Or what are you guys utilizing it for right now? Are you putting it in in your email footers at least to give you that social proof? >> It's on my website right now. >> Okay.

Go ahead, Clarence. >> Yes, I have it in the photo on my website. >> Nice. So, >> yeah, I plan on adding it to the website. I also plan on putting on the flyer that we're going to be using.

Um, but I had a question for you, too. If I go to multiple locations, how do I how do I handle that with that? So if you have if they're adjacent locations then I mean it would be okay that you would put them both on one landing page but in the case that they might be very far apart then it probably doesn't make sense just because the whole point of the whole point of the blog section and everything it's you know locally focused. So it's focusing on the city that you're targeting. So, if I start writing blogs about your let's say your two cities are Boston and Miami, the blog section is going to say how to do better marketing in Boston and Miami and nobody's searching that.

So, that it'll be useless for you. So, you probably would if you have separate very separate locations. You'd probably want them to be separate landing pages for that. >> Well, it'll be like Lexington, but further away it would be like Louisville, which is about an hour and 15 minutes, I guess. But for the most part, they're all within like a half hour, 45 minutes of each other.

>> Gotcha. Yeah. I mean, if you're if you're actively working like an entire region, then then we could definitely see how that could that could fit on one landing page, but it would definitely be kind of a judgment call. >> Well, I'm okay. We got to use mobile pages.

I just wanted to know how to work it out, you know? >> Yeah. So, I I haven't really worked out the the bulk pricing, if you will. I'm I'm thinking it'll probably be a lower like not a $33 subscription for a second landing page when the time comes. But, I guess when you're interested in that, reach out to me and I'm sure we can work something out depending on your situation.

>> Okay, good to hear. >> Holy moly, the sunset's amazing. Has anyone here started trying a community card? There's been a lot of hype about that lately and planning on making a video about it soon based on what I've learned from my research. I'll take that as a no.

But basically a community card. >> Hey, what's up? >> Hey, it's Brad. Hey, it's Brad here. Hey, first time on the call, so thanks for letting me in.

>> Of course. >> About the community. Yeah, thanks. About the community card though, I'd like to see an example. I' I've heard it a time or two.

I'd like to know more about it. >> Yeah. So, I'm going to make a video about this and I'm going to build a template out for everybody. But long story short, it is typically a 6 by 11 or 6 1/2 by 11 card. So, it's a little bit smaller and you're usually sending it to less homes like 2500.

It's more targeted, but that allows you to because the massive cost in print in this whole fulfillment thing is the postage. So, when you're only sending to 25 houses, you get to decrease your prices a whole lot because it's going to cost you a whole lot less. So, you're really charging more like 150, 175, like maybe $200 per slot. So, you can sell slots a whole lot quicker. You make a little bit less profit, but it's much quicker sales.

You don't focus as much on the ad design, or at least the people who have been doing it that I've been learning from that don't focus as much on the ad design. It's more of like a template and everybody has an offer. And the offer, all the offers are just like a ticket thing that it's all the same design. They just have different colors. So, it's very basic, simple, cheap, and just quicker to sell out.

That's the whole basis around it. >> Okay. Yeah. So, the look kind of looks the same. Little simpler look.

I I was I was kind of thinking it was more geared towards the the list of phone local phone numbers in your area and stuff, but that you're saying that's not included that it's just ads. >> Oh, yeah. I see what you're So, you're talking about a directory card, which is That's different. But that's that's another option. I haven't I mean done a ton of looking into that, but people have used that to make a lot of connections.

You basically charge like a very small amount for just to be on a line as like you know the local plumber 50 bucks, local electrician 50 bucks. And then you also put some ad sections on there that are bigger to really, you know, go towards the cost of the printing. >> Sure. >> Then you can fit a ton of businesses on there. It takes a lot of outreach, but it's going to be a much easier sale to sell a $50 line than $500 slot.

>> Yeah. But I mean, back to the other plan though, I do like that lower price point, 150 or$1.99. >> It's definitely It's really cool. It's really cool.

And it kind of it warms people up. It It warms people up. You're making those connections quicker and easier with the the easy sale. And once you guys are more connected, you could potentially grow that into a 9 by12 card. >> Yeah.

>> Why don't you use it as a fallback position when you're when you're pitching your your regular card that if they say no and then say, "Hey, why have this here? You might want to be on and you know, they might take it." >> Totally. Yeah, it's a perfect perfect downell. >> Yeah, that's a good idea.

>> So, I'm trying to overcome the paralysis by analysis. Um, is it best to get started with >> Is it best to get started with a personal email or more one geared to a business name? >> Oh, yeah. Don't I would I wouldn't sweat it with the email. I've I've used all my personal emails and it's been perfectly fine as long as you don't have some crazy email like Dragon Slayer 300.

You'll be okay. >> Yeah. >> Just make sure the like the profile picture is like, you know, somewhat professional, like just a head shot of you or something. Nothing crazy. And yeah, you'll be good.

Okay. Because I got a small business I'm doing that's bookkeeping, but I'm kind of wanting to push it out like that. Like Jake had said, you know, hey, I'm another small business looking to advertise. What do you think? That kind of >> Yeah.

You know, >> totally. That's a good way to do it. Then you're coming across as a teammate rather than trying to sell them on something. >> Yeah. If you have a small business, that that's your advantage.

And get going. No need to stay paralyzed. There's nothing to lose by sending off a just a few emails, you know? Get a response, see what they say, and you can always take a couple hours to respond. >> Yeah.

I had another point to make. I forgot what it was. >> I mean, even on a community community card, even if you took one whole side, if you sold the other side, you could basically advertise your business for free. >> Yeah, sure. That's good.

Totally. That's a good idea. >> How many ads are going on a community card? >> From what I've seen, it's still 16. It's just on a slightly smaller car, slightly cheaper, and goes to less houses.

>> I know what I was going to ask about the the pitch on the email. you you the school community has a very small pitch like one or two sentences and then I I do want to compliment you on that what video you put out for that chat GPT prompt that um that's supposed to be automated. I put that in. It's it's not 100% but I tell you it's sure great. I mean I I told my family I said that's the best video I've watched in a year watching YouTube videos.

I mean that's the best value for your money for you to put that out for the community. So, I mean, I always want to say, you know, thank you for that, >> but but those love to hear it. >> Those individual emails that it generates is a lot of work of copy and pasting to put them in individual emails. I mean, what's what's your success rate in doing that versus just a one or two sentence pitch, you know? >> Yeah.

I mean, it it would definitely be something to test. If you want it to be a little bit quicker, you could have it just if you're not using the automated part of having it like send the emails for you, you could have it spit it out into a CSV file. That way you could just quickly, you know, it's the same thing as copying and pasting the script. You just copy it from the C from the spreadsheet, paste it into your sending sending email, copy their email, paste it into the two two column, and send it off. So, it's it's not that not all that slow.

And I' I'd imagine you would get I I don't want to speak numbers, but I can I can imagine you would get a much higher response rate from something like that versus something generic. Although the generic message is what I have, you know, built up over months of, you know, coming up with cold emails. I started out with a very complex like selling selling selling cold email and it's slowly just slowly gotten improved improved until this the one on the school community is what has worked the best for me. >> I'm I'm sure of that. I appreciate that.

I mean something's better than nothing. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. But I would I would definitely I would experiment with the more personal ones.

>> Well, I'll get back on here and let you guys know how it goes. I'm just kind of curious how everybody else is doing it. I I just don't want to be spinning my wheels. I want to make it the most effective method. >> Totally.

What's everyone else doing? >> Yeah, my reception has been so bad. I've been get my call keeps dropping. So, I got on I haven't even started yet. So, I guess that's just a matter of like I have a business like I do handyman and junk removal as well and I wouldn't mind putting that on there with some other advertisers.

I just haven't like taken the plunge and gone and done it. But I know when you sign up for the school, you get a lot of benefit and especially even like the design factor is one thing that like you know held me back like oh well I'm gonna have to spend all this time designing it. But like you took care of that so it's not a matter of that and then so you can like link up with your your info right and then just have your team design it >> and do all that processing. So it takes all that leg work out. So for me, it's just a matter of sitting down and actually making the calls and like trying as opposed to just yeah like paralysis by analysis just thinking about it and not never doing anything about it.

And I'm like I'm so busy working but that's still no excuse. So like I do like appliance installations and like handyman work. So when I'm busy like I'm all day like you know doing a whole kitchen like it's hard for me to sit down and like make those calls. But still I don't think there's any excuse. if you want something done, you can get it done.

Um, so I need to just, you know, get on there more and just like make get a list of like people to call or buy your list so that way I don't have to like think about it because that's another thing. It's like you've already done that leg work and having those list of people to call. So then it's just a matter of reaching out to those people and then following through. So >> yeah, >> I just need to get on it. But it's good to have a community to get some encouragement and then, you know, be able to see what other people are doing and what, you know, has been working for them.

>> And I don't know where everybody else is in their journey of trying to like get these done, but you know, it's it's always encouraging when you see somebody else doing it. >> Totally. That's why I love this community because there's always somebody out there winning. So, it proves to you that I mean the only person holding you back is is you cuz this can work in, you know, any location. People are doing it in towns of 2,000 people like this guy Darren in our group and then there's people doing it in massive cities.

So, >> like you said, it's >> you just got to, you know, get to it. And you have the advantage being owning a small business in your town. It gives you such a better frame to come at them because you're just you're coming at them >> teaming up. >> You're not you're not even Yeah, exactly. you're just you're you're saying, "Hey, do you want to jump on?"

So, in in our group, there's a section called best advice. So, you know how there's different sections like wins, general discussion, there's one called best advice. Go to that and scroll down. There's only a few posts. One of them is Ma Matthew Stout posted it >> and it's a video of Ben Bradley's cold call script and it's a it's a video of a guy >> exactly in your situation where he owned his own business and he had the the best possible script, the best possible framing to just have a super casual phone call with another business owner about how you know we're trying to gather a bunch of guys to split the cost of marketing and wondering if you wanted to to join us help us out.

>> Where was that? What was that again Mitchell? So, you know how our our school community has like a general discussion? It has a wins tab. >> So, it's one of those tabs.

It's called best advice. >> Okay. Best advice. All right. >> Yeah.

>> That's awesome. Okay. Yeah. And that'll help out a lot because like then, you know, there's no excuse. Like if you are, you know, if you get that script down and you're a business owner.

>> Yeah. You know, it's one of those things. It's like, you know, I when I first heard about it, I was so excited and I was ready to go and I joined the community and then I just got busy working and got lazy. >> Yeah. >> And I, you know, I talked to a handful of people and I had a couple people kind of excited about it, but then I just really dropped the ball.

So, I don't know how you have like, you know, it's kind of like inertia or something like once you get going and you have to stay consistent and follow through. You know, I think I can understand how people would be like scared to cold call people out of nowhere. >> You know, it's kind of like public speaking. Like most people are just scared to do it. >> And even if you have like the best business model in the world, there's only a certain percentage of people who are going to actually follow through and see the value and do it.

So, and you know, it just seems to be like in anything in life like the bar is so low like for most people like you know people are so average or below average if you just actually are good and you can communicate and you answer your phone like in just in business like just you know me answering my phone and calling people back is like a miracle. >> Yeah. So [laughter] >> yeah 100%. I mean Yeah. And once you see that script, you'll see how casual it can really be.

And you just got to make that first call and it'll break all of your all your worries. >> Awesome. Yeah, I appreciate all the work that you do. >> My pleasure. I love seeing you guys win.

>> I want to see more of you win. >> Yeah, I want to win. >> Yeah, the biggest thing is the analysis by paralysis. That is why I just launched the new program that's a little bit more hands-on, the accelerate program. You probably got a DM about it today.

you sound like you would be you sound like you would be a fit for that. So, just go go go to that web page again, take a look at it. Could be something of interest. And if not, then >> totally fine. But it's just another thing that because I saw so many people, >> you know, I provide all all the the templates, the scripts, >> the all the videos, but there's still so many people sitting on the sidelines, which is understandable.

So, I knew the next thing that needed to happen was like, I'll just hold your hand through it and, you know, set everything up for you. Give you the the website, literally everything set up, hold your hand through it through and through. So, that's why just launched that so we can see more people win. >> Yeah. Ah, you're definitely providing more value than anything I've ever found.

>> I'm glad to hear that. I hope I am. >> Yeah, man. >> Hey, Mitch. >> What's going on?

About a month ago, I guess I think it was on your site on in the school year. There was a guy who was talking about he was making the video commercial for the 9 by12 card that we could use to promote the about a minute long or so or 30 seconds something like that. Do you remember who that was? I'd like to get something like that. >> Was that Dave >> making a Oh, I've seen there was a Dave on a different group.

I'm not sure if he's even in our group, but Dave Dutton, I think, was doing stuff like that. >> D, >> but I I saw him on Facebook. I think it's Dut T. >> Okay. >> If you look him up on Facebook, you'll probably find him.

>> I was in the community, but I guess maybe it wasn't. >> Okay. Thank you. >> No problem. >> So, with your accelerate course, Mitchell, I can get you to do all the work and I'll just collect the money?

>> Not necessarily. Not necessarily. I'm not carrying you to the finish line, but I'm holding your hand to the finish line. [laughter] So, I'll just type it in the chat. It I did DM everybody about it, but it's accelerate 9 by12method.

com. I just sent it in the chat. But yeah, and also if you if you check your I sent it over email as well. I announced it everywhere. So, if you didn't get my email recently, it's probably in your promotions box because I use the email software like I was talking about.

Okay. >> Yeah, that it comes with a whole lot and it comes with the guarantee that I do not stop working with you until you make your investment back in the program. So, the only risk is if you decided to, you know, give up, which if you believe in yourself, then the program is a no-brainer. I don't like to put time limits because I would not in my best conscience take your money and then leave a month later without you seeing more success than I did. So the guarantee is you make your money back that you put into the program.

>> When you're doing like all these different programs and like obviously you're testing them to make sure that like you know you're they're working for you and if it works for you it's going to work for other people. Like as far as like say your business is going with your 9 by12s or whatever, like have you do are you kind of like caught in between like doing this the this side of the school and like getting all this stuff ready or and also selling like do you have time to like get out there and actually you know get it get to people or sales or do you have reoccurring revenue coming in from like a lot of your like clients? >> Yeah, good full transparency. I am not as busy with selling out cards as I was when I started out because I pour so much time into this community now and everything that I'm doing here. I honestly I just see more fulfillment and you know helping everybody else win now.

It was you know I like selling but I also I just I really like teaching even though I'm kind of an introvert. It just >> I really like it. So I, you know, I eventually scaled up to three cards and since scaled down to two, have a salesperson, but I did take the last month off because I've just been totally focused on content, the community, and just launching this new program here. So yeah, full transparency. >> I did take the last month off, but >> you know, still trying to stay in the trenches.

And I see I the biggest thing about this group is I see so much data of what's working and what's not working. I literally live in this community. I talk to people all day long about what they're doing here and what's working, what's not working, which is why I like these Zoom calls where we can just talk about everything. >> Yeah. And it's almost kind of like you, you know, we all need or, you know, I guess me like, you know, someone to like, you know, look to or talk to about it and see what they've done.

So like all those scripts and all those calls of, you know, just listen to those guys do the calls, you know, that's very encouraging. Yeah. >> You know, to get that going and that's pretty cool that you can get all these different like, you know, analysis of like what's working for people. So that can really help you hone in your skills on how you can be benefit to everybody else. >> Totally.

There's there's some pretty cool things. I've learned more on more on these calls than I have put out in the community for sure. Like we we as a conglomerate have put out so much more value than I have by myself. That's for sure. Like for just a random example, >> one of our members, Michael, he got 75% of his advertisers to renew.

75% simply by doing a spin to win. So he just put all of their names on a wheel, spun the wheel, and was just giving out gift cards to the people it landed on. And just that little that little thing right there caused so many people to reciprocate and you know just want to work with him again because people like working with people that they people that they like. So little things like that. That's the stuff we learn here.

>> Mitch, you mentioned on one of the last videos I saw last night when you were when you were picking on Jake back and forth. He he wasn't there though. >> Um >> you had mentioned about that you're had employees and how that worked out and so forth. Having had a company myself, I've had employees and I'm a little afraid of that because what I've seen with employees is they tend to try and improve the wheel and take it over. What was your experience with that?

>> Yeah. So, that's exactly why I mean I started out trying to hire somebody full-time and quickly, you know, gladly we both kind of agreed that it wasn't going to work out. But this is why I would recommend just keeping it commission based. And they should have just as much incentive to scale the business as you do. So I I recommend only bringing somebody on that's going to be full-time, which means they should also be able to make full-time pay.

So whether that's giving them, you know, 50% commissions on the card at the end of the month or however you want to format it, it's just it needs to be somebody that's fully committed to it. >> Okay. I noticed you were saying like, you know, have like a um an a graphic person, have a person that's doing the um emails. And I mean, I was thinking like doing it that way instead of having an actual salesperson. >> I see.

Yeah. So, for sending off emails, you can hire like VAS. So, that's the other option. Like, so that's I think that's what I was saying in the video is either hire VAS or hire somebody fully committed full-time cuz like for sending off emails and that that can be done by a very cheap virtual assistant also. What was the second thing?

You you could hire people for cold calls honestly. But it's it's one or the other. It's one or the other. But the thing is if you do end up losing that virtual assistant then you're on the hook to pick up the pace. >> Well, you're always on the hook.

What do you own? >> Absolutely. It's your business. >> Well, I'm going to have to run, guys. I'd love to get on here more with you.

Do you have these every week? >> Yes. Yeah. We're going to do these on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future. >> Okay.

Awesome. Well, I'd love to get on and get get involved in the community and just, you know, start getting after it. So, I'm pretty excited. Thanks for all that you do and I hope to get on more soon and I'll check out all that info that you're telling me about. I really appreciate you.

Thanks for being here and get to it. Get to work. >> I will got this. Go ahead. All right.

Later, guys. >> Take it easy.
