Retire With This Facebook Ad + 9x12 Postcard Business

Mitchell TeboJune 7, 20251:07:19

Mitchell walks through the simple Facebook lead ad setup that turned $70 into 10 advertiser leads and three sales for a 9x12 postcard, plus a live Q&A.

Key takeaways

  • Running about $10 a day for roughly a week produced 10 leads and three closed sales, around $7 per lead and $23 per sale.
  • Use the leads objective with an instant form asking only for name, email, and business name, then call new leads quickly to close them.
  • Target your town with a 10 to 15 mile radius, ages 25 to 64, and business owners as the detailed targeting.
  • The ad was a member's ad copy paired with a photo of the postcard, and a working ad should keep running so Facebook keeps learning.
  • Mitchell avoids splitting slots into thirds because each tiny slot takes as much work to close as a full one.

How to print money using Facebook ads in the 9 by12 method. This is a live training where I showed our group members exactly how to do that. And you're going to want to watch this if you're trying to print money and start the world's best side hustle. So, if you don't know what the 9x12 method is, here's a quick spiel about it. I call it the 9x12 method.

This is where you sell advertising slots on a large postcard to local businesses. And the card is 9x12 in, hence the name, the 9x12 method. It's actually a pretty cool community builder because it allows local businesses to actually be able to afford mail marketing because they actually split the cost of marketing. And at the same time, you benefit by bringing the businesses together because you make around 4 grand profit just for coordinating it. Once you've sold out all of the ad slots and pasted in their ads that they design for you or you design yourself, the card is mailed to 5,000 households in the community.

So, it's great for the businesses. It's great for you for coordinating it and making profit. And the community benefits because they get discounts for local businesses around them that they already love. Oh, and by the way, I take care of the printing and shipping so that you guys can focus on selling. But we'll talk about that in another video or you can find out about that on my community.

Okay, now let's get to the training. So, today I'm going to start this by giving a lesson. So, we actually ran a Facebook ad this month for for our our one of our communities, and we only ran it for about a week, but we had some pretty great results with the the first try at this ad. And it was pretty shockingly simple. So, I'm just literally just going to show everybody step by step exactly what we did and like how we set it up, how to set it up on on the Facebook ads manager cuz the Facebook ad manager can be confusing because there's so many buttons.

It's like it's a mess. So, I'm just going to like cut through the BS because you can keep it really simple and ignore everything else just like we did and and make it work. So, we spent we only had it running for a week, maybe a week and a half in our specific community. And we spent $70, which was around $10 a day in campaign budget. And that resulted in 10 leads.

So, these are leads that are are actually filling out a form with their contact information saying they're interested in applying to join. So, we got 10 leads and those 10 leads so far have resulted in three closed sales. So, 70 bucks sounds like a lot, but we closed three sales out of that so far. Three sales out of that so far. And and William, how much do you usually sell your ads for?

Uh $4.49 or 3.99 to really get going. All right. So, yeah, imagine imagine 4.

49 49* 3350 bucks turned into Yeah. $70 turned into 1350 bucks. That's That's pretty insane. It's like it's like printing money. Yeah.

Exactly. So those were our results. Um and that basic for for us, we sell a slot for 500 bucks. That comes out to $7 a lead, which is ridiculous because our leads are worth a ton of money. And then $23 per sale.

So, because we charge $500 per per client, our average um lifetime value of a client is going to be even more than $500 because some clients are going to stay for multiple months. So, we could assume that our average lifetime value might even be go ahead and put him on his leash and take him out back and sit with him and might even be more like $800 and we spend $23 to acquire that customer. That's just ridiculous. And that's that's one way that you can really help scale this business when you're trying to scale to multiple towns rather than scaling up. Of course, you should still do the prospecting, but also scaling up on the ads because if if you can keep that if you can keep the cost below 400 bucks per customer, and right now we're at 23 bucks.

If you can keep it below 400 bucks, you're still making an average of $400 per customer in their lifetime. So, it's kind of a no-brainer. So, I'm just going to show you exactly how how we set it up. I uh I I have you know I'm not just 9 by12 per you know I have more I have other services and stuff so my my lifetime value of a customer is really high yeah exactly compared to just having to sell ads so it's like you know I'm willing to spend realistic lead exactly yeah most a lot of people here are as long as they're willing to say yes are willing to offer other services so you're yeah it's a no-brainer to get to get this running and I'm not an expert expert on Facebook ads at all. So, I'm literally just I'm showing you what we did and I gave I told you our results.

These were the results with what we did, which was very simple, not perfect at all. We ignored 90% of the stuff on the ads manager, but it gave us the results that I just explained to you. So, might be a good starting point for you guys. So, also I give total credit to a member of our group named Leland, and we basically used his exact ad copy right here. Um, I'll put a link to this for the people who are watching the replay.

It'll be in the description, but he basically came up with this ad copy. I just switched a couple words and he he posted about it. So, he he was willing to make it public and everything. And that's that post is pinned to the um best advice tab of our group. So, you can check that out, but total credit to him.

So, literally all we used for the copy was that copy right there. And the picture was just a picture of our postcard. Simple as that. And like I said, that might not be the the highest converting ad. We'll see because next month we're going to do some split testing.

We're going to we're going to actually switch up the the picture or we're going to continue to run the picture, but alongside that we're going to run the same exact ad copy, but with one of my crazy stupid videos where I like flip off the bridge and I'll I'll do something with the with the postcard. Just something creative. And we're going to split test that and see what works better. But so here's how we set it up on Facebook. So you need a Facebook business account.

I already have one. This is not the account we ran it on, but So, all you're going to do is go to the left side sidebar right here to go to ads manager. Open that up. And if I don't, you might have to like set up your credit card and stuff if you haven't already. But once all that's set up, this is how you just set up the uh actual ad.

So, we're going to start at campaigns. You're going to create a campaign. And I might go a little slow through this because, like I said, I'm not an expert at this. This is just exactly what we did. We're going to go auction type, uh, buying type auction, and we're trying to convert leads, trying to attract leads because we're going to send them to a a form which collects their information.

We're not trying to send them to our website. Um, for this, I just use the recommended settings because I keep it simple. Let Facebook, you know, handle all the complex stuff. Just keep it simple. Focus on the most important things.

Um, you can name the campaign whatever you want. Doesn't really matter. It's not going to show on the front end. That just shows for you. And then so we're going to choose campaign budget because right now we're only running one ad set and one ad anyway.

So you can choose the daily budget. We only spent $10 a day. We'll probably up that a little bit next month just to see if we can convert some more and see how that changes the actual conversion rate if we're spending more money per day. Just got to test that. But $10 is what we did.

We kept that the same highest volume. Um budget scheduling just more complexity. We didn't bother with that. AB testing is when you're going to you're going to try to compare two different ads. So, we didn't do that the first month.

That's what we'll try next month. Um, special ad categories. We are not. Okay. So, here this is we I pressed the next button to get to this point.

Now, we're on the ad sets and you can change the name of it. Again, it's just on the back end. So, just change it to whatever you want that'll make sense to you. And then I sent them to an instant form, which is literally just a form where they fill out their contact information basically. And you can customize it however you want.

Make sure you have the right Facebook page set up. I haven't agreed to terms because this isn't the the page that I ran the ads on. But yeah, so we're going to maximize the number of leads. Don't worry about conversion leads. And the thing is with this, it's not you're not getting them to the sale immediately through this ad.

you're just getting them to send you their contact info to apply. It's still your job to close these leads. So, you're going to want to follow up with them quickly and actually, you know, have a little bit of skill in closing, but these are going to be the hottest leads that you're you're ever going to have. You're going to open up the show more options. And this is where you can customize the start date if you don't want it to be right away.

And you can also set an end date if you have like your campaigns ending at a certain time. But honestly, if it's working, I recommend just keeping the ad running. That way it doesn't lose any juice because they become more optimized over time because Facebook starts to learn who your audience is. It's going to start to see what types of accounts, what types of people are converting better. So, it'll actually become more profitable over time.

So, if it's working, keep it running and you can just set up a wait list for next month or whatever. Um, let's see. Okay, so audience controls. This is where you set up who you're actually targeting. So, first of all, under locations, right now it just says the United States.

So, we're going to want to edit this. And you're going to probably search your specific town. So, we'll do Portsmith, Portsmith, New Hampshire. And then your radius. So, I usually recommend 10 to 15 mile radius.

And these are the So, it's going to target people that's clearly not Portsmith, but we're just going to go with it. Just make sure you're targeting the right radius. Um, and then minimum age. I like to do 25. They just I mean people are more likely to be business owners when they're older.

So I just do that to make it a little bit more efficient, but you can experiment with that. Um I don't have an existing audience, so we're going to create a a custom audience. So I'm going to suggest an audience to Facebook. And we already have the the 25 that we set here to 65 plus. Honestly, just to make it even more efficient, I'm going to keep it at 64 because I don't want to be targeting 90 year olds who probably don't own a business.

Genders, I'm going to keep all all genders. And then detailed targeting. This is where I just put in business owners. So now we're targeting business owners within 15 miles of Portsmith who are over the age of 25 and under the age of 24, all genders. And those are that's all I set up for targeting.

So, you can go crazier and like set up even more specific details like interested in golf. There's so many rabbit holes you can go down, but this is what we did for our results that I talked about. So, that's the audience um placements. Yeah, we didn't we didn't change any of that. So, then we move on to the next, which would be the actual ad itself, the creative.

So, yeah, you can change the ad name. Make sure you're running the right Facebook page. And if you have a separate Instagram account, connect that Instagram account or you can just leave it as use Facebook page. I don't like multi-advertiser ads. I don't know exactly what that is, but it sounds like it basically combines your ad with other advertisers on the same ad when it pops up, which I don't like.

I want to have the the full view. So, I get rid of that. Could be could be wrong about that, but that's what we did. And then you're going to create the form. So, this is what they're actually going to see once they click apply now on your ad.

So, you can title it whatever you want. That's just for your front end. And then your goal is going to just be more volume. Um, you you don't want to I don't I don't believe in adding friction here. So, just more volume.

You want to get make it as simple as possible for people to fill it out. No fancy stuff. Have them fill it out and then you get in contact with them right away. I keep it optimized. Okay.

And here's the headline. I'm gonna minimize that. Okay. Headline could be something like it could be something like apply for the York spotlight or it could be business owners reach 5,000 doors in York. Oh, Courtsmith.

Actually, you can you can experiment with that. This is after they saw your ad already. So, we haven't actually put in the ad copy, but like I I showed you before, it's the the card and all that, but this is after they saw all that, they click on an apply now button, and now they're going to see this form right here. And so, that's when they're actually applying for it. And then you can just have a a paragraph like fill out your details, blah blah blah.

And this is just bringing them through the form. So, then this is where you add your the questions in the form. I don't recommend adding too many questions because I don't want to give too much friction. I want it to be easy for them. just give us your info and we'll get back to you.

So, you know, name, email, uh business name, you could you could ask like for business address, but honestly, name, email, business name is all you need. This is where you can add your priv privacy policy and everything. Custom stuff. And then this is the after they filled out the form successfully, you can actually customize what it says at the end. I recommend saying something.

First of all, select call business because now at the bottom of the page, it's going to say call now. And the most important thing when you're closing these leads is the speed to the lead. They're at their hottest point. They're most likely to buy the second that they just committed to this and sent you this form. If you wait 10 days to reach out to them, they might not even remember it.

So speed to lead is important. So I like to give them the option to call you right away. That way, if you didn't see them fill out the form right away, at least they can get right to you. But um also you're going to get their information on the Facebook one of their I forget what they call it, Facebook something, campaign manager or something and the lead's information will funnel in there. So you should call them right away if they don't call you, but give them that option and you would just put in your phone number here and the call to action would be call now.

That way the the hottest leads don't slip away. So then we created the form. I'm not going to create it and make a mess. And then we're setting up the ad creative. So, like mine was just an image ad.

We just use the picture of the postcard. Simple as that. So, image ad. I'm just going to use the logo so I don't have to search around for the image. And it's just showing you what it's going to look like on all the different verticals basically because Facebook has so many different platforms.

They have WhatsApp, they have Instagram, they have everything. So, there's going to be vertical style, there's going to be horizontal style. It's just showing you previews of how everything's going to fit. And you can also crop it and make sure that it fits well in all of the different styles. And then primary text.

This is where we're just going to use the main ad copy. So we're just going to copy that. One second. Johnson. Somebody's not watching our Zoom.

Um, okay. Yeah. So, primary text will be the ad copy. Make sure you put your town in there. And then the headline can be like attention.

It It could be whatever you want, but attention town business owners. That's what I did. I also like to do this. Feel like that catches attention. So that would be the headline that appears at the top in most cases.

I left the description blank. And then for call to action, I like to do apply now. It kind of adds urgency and it shows that we're exclusive. You want to come across as exclusive. like we're not just going to automatically accept you.

You got to you got to try to get in on the York Spotlight. Like we're not coming to you, you're coming to us. Okay. So, it makes it seem more special. Apply.

Now, all this stuff I didn't use any of it. It's a bunch of like AI optimization. So, we're just going to click done. It's going to give me recommendations and stuff, but now it's showing me like the previews of how it's going to look on all the different platforms. There's like Facebook Marketplace, Instagram reels, Instagram explore because this is going everywhere.

You can customize it to go to only certain places, but like I said, I like to keep it simple and it worked. So, I just leave it as that. Headline description. We already filled all this out. Yeah.

And that would do it. And then you would just click publish. At this point, it might ask you for like payment information. Yeah, exactly. I'm not going to put that in right in front of you, but as long as you set it to publish right away, it'll publish right away and you'll have it running.

And then you'll be able to go to your campaigns off on the left side side sidebar and you'll be able to see once it actually gets approved and starts running, you'll be able to see all the stats and how much you've spent, your reach, how many impressions, how many people actually it crossed their eyes, your cost per result, which would be your cost per lead filling out the sheet, which for us was seven bucks per lead, the amount that you've spent total, and be the adets and ads, it's all going to say the same thing because we're only using one ad set, one ad, one ad copy. Simple. So, I recommend trying that out. I'm not guaranteeing results because you still need to be able to close the leads, but these are the warmest leads you're going to get, and it's way better than cold calling all day. So, yeah.

And I'm not an expert, so if anybody has some good advice to put on top of that, please please give it now. Oh, 26 participants. Facebook ads uh hasn't been very good um through the years. Um, I I I do play with Facebook ads. And I think when I ran an ad for this, I did more targeting than just business owners.

But so I'm interested to see how well just opening it up to demographic rather than trying to be too precise works because uh I had ran an ad for actually I'm doing an ad right now for free business cards kind of like an entry product and it actually it had a lot of action but it didn't have a lot of like I didn't get a lot of leads out of it. Um but I wonder I I wasn't using the Facebook forms. I'm a I'm a huge like do my own forms. So, I'm just I'm gonna set it up exactly like you had just showing us and I'm gonna run an ad, see how well it does. Yeah, I like the Facebook forms because it's integrated.

They don't have to leave the app. It's like it's the lowest friction possible. It doesn't need to be anything fancy and it already looks good. So, and yeah, I've had bad results with Facebook ads and other businesses, but our our idea is just so like novel. it it stands out.

Especially when you're targeting a very specific community, you're you're announcing the name of the community and things like that. It's going to stand out more as long as you keep it simple. That's why I like the picture because I I don't know about you guys, when I personally get a video ad, I swipe within 3 seconds. So, if you're not showing your value proposition within 3 seconds, people are going to swipe away. But with the picture, it's right in front of them instantaneously.

But, like I said, we're going to split test and see how the video does. So, we have 28 people here. Is anybody else running ads? Oh, someone's trying to talk. Yeah, I'm running ads.

Yeah. Cool. How are they going? It's going well. I'm not uh I'm not I didn't do the form like Facebook form ads.

I I just sent everybody to Messenger. Oh, yeah. I see. Yeah. Do you I think you can like recommend for them to say certain things like do you have it like where they can just click a button and it says I'm interested things like that?

Yeah. So like they click a button and I just give the one or the two options like hey I'm I want to join or like the other one I thought because I have a couple different forms I was testing some different things. So like one is like hey I'm interested in joining the other one was like postcards but like um it's been uh doing I think this week I have four people that I'm talking to now um because I got different ads running to see what happens. So and I got another one. Let's see.

I have the other two have nine. So nine. So 14 conversations right now. Awesome. Yeah.

And do you know what your your cost per lead has been? Like cost per person who reaches out to you on Messenger? Uh yeah. Hold on. Let me take scroll that back up.

So, I'm curious if they make the person download Facebook Messenger if they open it on their phone because that that might be some friction, but that would seem ridiculous if they would force them to do that. Yeah, cuz I got Facebook cuz I'm running both on Facebook and Instagram. So, either or. Um Okay, let's see. So, let's see.

That one was uh those eight were $711 per conversation. the new and the new one that I just started running like the other day is about $848. That's a different ad, but yeah. Perfect. Yeah, that's like the the same exact co cost for our campaign.

So, it's pretty consistent. The one thing with the with the lead form is that you get a little bit more contact information off the bat because then you get their phone number and you get their email so you can call them right away. So, that's the that's the only difference. But with the messenger, they're actually messaging you first. So yeah, I don't know.

I don't know which one would be better. I'd like to have a conversation because usually I'm upfront about like what how much stuff costs and everything else. And um so I'll I'll go back and forth that way. I'm just not rant because they're business owners. So sometimes calling them at 8:00 at night is like the best time.

So I just I was like, "Okay, let's have a conversation." Because some of them like opt in like late at night and then you'll just have a conversation. and they'll go they'll get back to you a few hours a few hours later cuz they're working, you know. Yeah. Um but yeah, they've been pretty um engaged in like giving me information like, "Hey, what's your business?

What is it?" You know, the information just having a conversation back and forth hasn't hasn't been bad cuz it kind of like you get everything else out the way. Totally. Yeah. And the the great thing about these leads is they're they're very warm and even the ones that don't um that aren't interested right away.

You can keep them in your database because they're potentially prospects that you could be reaching out to over the coming months that might be interested when the time is right. So they're all they're very valuable. So even the ones that don't just throw away the leads that come to you and then aren't interested right away because they were interested. That's why they inquired. Especially if you used the ad copy that I showed, which literally told you the price.

I don't know if you saw the ad copy literally says it's $500 for a slot. So, if they were interested then, then they're trying to get the information, they're going to be interested at some point. So, keep those leads close. Yeah, that's true. If you just keep engaging them, you know, because you might if whoever if you've already sold a slot for like a realer and a realer approaches you, they're like, "Hey, I want to be on the card."

Well, we you know, we can't put you on this card, but the next card. Totally. Yeah. Add some add some urgency too, some exclusivity. But image-wise, I'm I'm curious like what have you been uh testing for the image.

Yeah, like I said, we've only used the the picture, just a screenshot of the postcard. We haven't tested anything else. Next month, we're going to test um a a video ad where like I I some people have seen my real estate videos where I'll like flip off the bridge and say something and then they're crazy. They just grab grab your attention right away. We're going to test that and with the 9x12 card, see how that works.

But I feel like the image ad with just the postcard is going to work better. But we're just going to keep split testing. I'm not really sure if I would for an image ad. I don't think I would use anything else other than the postcard. I don't think I would try like any type of Canva design or anything.

I would leave the the the words to the description um to the actual ad copy and then leave the picture as just a picture of the card. Yeah, I've been um I run both ads. So, what I'll do is I'll I'll run some video ads and then I'll retarget people with the uh post. Yeah. Yeah.

I need to uh definitely explore their whole retargeting thing and all the all the things you can do with Facebook ads. It gets complicated, but we definitely started simple on the first one, but retargeting is huge. Yeah, that's what I've been that's what I've been doing. Everybody's been like on a on a retargeting campaign. Like I I purposely do that um so I can retarget so that they can have enough um time seeing seeing it.

And so by the time I get them in the best of their conversation, they're relatively sure because they've seen like a few videos. Absolutely. It just solidifies your reputation because they see you once and they're not going to remember you. But if they keep seeing you every day on Facebook and you keep popping into their life, they're going to they're going to recognize your name and you're you're more of an authority at that point. Yeah.

That and ads are cheaper when you target them. So that's always fun. Yeah. Um, Billy said, "Would you put a ruler alongside the card image so the size is apparent?" That's a That's a good idea.

Yeah, that would be a good idea for an image ad. You could even be funny about it and like put a banana or something. Be like banana for scale. But yeah, I put uh So, I I'm using an image. Actually, I just set up the ad.

I'm using an image. I put my postcard in front of my laptop computer and I have the largest Mac screen that you can get and you can see the screens around, you know, the edges of the laptop behind it, but gives you a perspective of how big it is. And then, yeah, to add a personal touch, it's funny. I have a little p I kept it. I didn't realize when I took it, but I have a picture of my two kids right in the corner off to the side of the laptop.

So, it adds like a little personal like, you know, I'm not a corporate racer, right? Like I wanted that added a little personality to the to the ad. So that's the ad that's the image I send all my inquiries and everything. Um it's like a it's like the you know if they see it somewhere else they'll know it's me. It's kind of like a you know creating that brand cohesion across all channels.

Totally. Yeah, that makes sense. And they trust you more when they see what you look like. Yeah. Yeah.

Billy said you could show a hand holding it too. Definitely. Use a baby hand though so then it's more convincing. But even use a business card. Everyone knows the size of a business card.

True. And I've seen other people like make mock-ups of it in a mailbox or mock-ups of it. Actually, I think the guy is here. Where is he? Maybe he left.

But uh mock of it like with an envelope on top of it just to show how much bigger it is than the average piece of mail. all kinds of ideas. Yeah, I like to keep it simple. Simple worked. So, it's best to just if simple works, go with simple.

There's no point in over complicating things for yourself. And just scale simple. Simple scale is way easier than complexity. That's the thing. You can be complex for one town or two towns, but if you're trying to scale and not go absolutely crazy, you got to keep things simple and repeatable.

Hey Mitch, I had had a couple of general questions, not necessarily related to ads. Yeah, if that's all right. Totally. All right, so um obviously I'm newer to it. I'm newer to to selling.

Um and I haven't actually closed anybody yet and I'm I'm I'm working on that obviously. Um, you know, I'm I've never been a true good salesman. And so I'm like I said, I'm I'm trying to work hard on that and been reading and listening to uh different like audio books and things to to improve that. But in the meantime, um, while I'm trying to get better myself, I I I know William had said something about when we first got on something about uh hiring a salesperson. No one call my boy.

Um, so how I mean how would that work exactly? Like I just pretty much put up a sales pos uh sales position and you know base them off commission and the more they sell the more they make. Yeah. So so personally first of all for the first one I would recommend finding somebody who isn't committed to something right now who you trust. maybe a friend or a family member who's competent and but they're not like fully committed to a full-time job and they're willing to to grow this thing with you.

That would be what that's what I did. That's what I would recommend for your first one. Um and yeah, so they they can help you out. God, now I forget your I forget your question. You're good.

You answered it. It was the uh you know, hiring somebody for for sales. Uh yeah. And so for payment, for payment, that was your question. For payment, I recommend payment at the end of the month because you obviously you're not profitable right away on a card.

And you don't want this. This this is a reason you should choose somebody that you that you trust and that also trusts you is you would just split the profit at the end. So, it keeps it simple for you and it makes it it takes the risk off of your plate because if the salesperson sells two slots and then they leave, but you're paying them 50% at the moment they sell the slot, well, you're not even profitable yet and now you're out 500 bucks if they sold two slots at $500 and you're 50/50. So, I I like to just keep it simple. They they get paid at the end of the month or they can start getting paid on once you're profitable.

So once you've hit your your profit point, then they start getting paid a split on those future slots if they want to get paid earlier on. But that's why it it's best to have that conversation with somebody that you know and trust and you if it's your first person, you can learn a lot from them before you go hire somebody that you don't totally know. That way it'll be easier to train them. Yeah. Okay, that makes sense.

And then another question, have you ever experimented with virtual assistants? Uh, I have not. I have not. No. But there's definitely people in this group that have used VAS, you know, collecting leads, all sorts of stuff like that.

There's there's cold call centers in the Philippines. You got to be careful. Some of them are horrendous and then some of them are really good. Um Okay. Yeah, you would definitely want to want to like ask for a referral on that so that you don't end up getting a crappy VA.

Yeah. Okay. And then another question. Um, so I see a lot of people going and doing using the word spotlight. They'll be like, you know, Vegas spotlight or um, you know, what Dallas spotlight, whatever.

Um, so is that kind of something that's recommended like use that in the name? No. Um, no. So, it started with I forget her name, but there was there was one person where when I was like first learning about this whole thing, she was already doing a spotlight and I used spotlight and then now it kind of just blew up from there because now I I put something I I used my template in our freebies. I don't know if you saw our freebies, but my template has spotlight on it.

So, now everyone uses Spotlight. But honestly, I if you want come up with your own creative name, just something that you know comes across as a exclusive or just, you know, community focused. You don't want it to be like the neighborhood advertiser. You don't want it to be like advertiser, something like that. You want it to be like I keep get coming back to the word spotlight, but I think you get the point, you know?

Yeah. You don't you don't have to use that word, though. All right. And then another question, since I don't have I don't obviously have a um a card created yet because I haven't closed anybody, but could I go and essentially mock up a card using the phone numbers and I don't know, maybe real or fictitious businesses um and just make it look, you know, like a regular card that I've already sold out because because like you know, I'm in Texas, right? And there's the 254 area code here.

And everybody sees the example from um with the other area code numbers and they're like, "Well, where is this even from?" You know, and it doesn't look like it's in Texas. And I'm trying to show people, hey, yeah, you know, I'm I'm in Texas. I'm in the local area, you know, and not just somebody that's in California trying to sell you something in Texas, you know. Totally.

Yeah. you can use the um the ad templates that I put in the freebies, like the individual pre-esigned ad templates, and just switch out the phone number so that they're more relevant uh to your area code. But that way, you're not using real businesses, but you're also uh the the the phone number is more relevant. But then once you do have a few sales, you could switch to like a live preview, which will give you some authority. So, you would just show them like what slots are available and then you'll have certain slots that are already filled up by local businesses that they're going to recognize.

That'll give you more authority because they'll actually recognize those. But to start, you could definitely just make a mockup with fake businesses. Okay. Yeah. So because yeah right now I have the Facebook page is um the just the like the name you know of the marketing agency that I set up and I don't have it as the this is going back to the question about the spotlight.

My bad. um the way my brain works. Um but um but anyways, I have a Facebook page like I said set up. It's just marketing agency and I was like ah I need to change you know the name for that. Um and definitely like I said get the a mockup example for you're cutting out Jason.

I think we lost you. Can you hear me now? Yep I can hear you now. Okay. I'm on my phone and I was getting another call, so I guess it cut out the audio.

Yeah. Um, but anyways, like I said, I was just going back to the the naming thing and thinking, okay, I need to change the Facebook page and um change the, you know, get definitely get a mockup and get some ads rolling. And I have a person of mine for the salesperson already. Uh, you know, a friend and he's he's a decent salesman. Um he's he does like a part full-time, part you know part part-time um like life insurance gig and you know he has to sell for that and close and so I was like okay he'd be perfect you know he's not committed to a full-time job kind of does that mostly on the side but um all right well I mean I guess that pretty much answers my questions then I appreciate the information for sure.

Yeah, of course. Yeah, Ron is saying don't hire until you pick up the phone yourself, though. And I do somewhat agree with that. You You're not going to be able to train them well if you haven't learned all the objections and experienced all the objections yourself. You're not going to be able to, you know, show them what they should expect.

So, you should probably, if you haven't already, try just try sell out your first card. You can definitely do it yourself and then then move on to hiring somebody. That would be Ron's recommendation and mine, too. And Ron's a killer. He's a killer.

All right. Hey, Jason and Mitch, I just want to jump in. Um kind of agree with with Mitch and Ron. Um I just sold out my first card and I literally didn't have anything. I didn't have a Facebook page.

I didn't have an Instagram. I was a random person that were walking into these businesses and reaching out to them on Facebook and they they bought in. So, you don't you don't need anything. Just go in there, maybe get a a sample card from Mitch. Doesn't matter what numbers are on there.

They don't they don't really look for that. Not one person asked me, "Hey, why are these numbers different from where we're at?" They don't care. They just see what it is and they either want to do it or they don't. I would just say stop stop overthinking it because you know I before I sold out my first card I was doing the same thing.

I was overthinking it but once you go out there just they either want or you don't you don't need a business bank account. You don't you don't need anything. I second the motion. Don't worry about it. I did my cards.

I didn't have a Facebook page. I didn't have a Yeah. They don't care about that. No one asked for that. They didn't ask for business name and walked in.

Yep. You're right. Not even a business name. Just do it. Don't overthink it.

Now, y'all did in person, correct? I did both. I did in person and I went on Facebook and I reached out to some of my friends and they reached out to some of their friends and kind of networking that way. But I did a little bit of everything. I did a few emails, but emails didn't work for me at all.

I got zero replies. Um, granted I only did like 30 or 50 emails, but after that after that I'm just like, "No, this isn't working." So, I just went out and through Facebook and uh in person. Yeah, I did face to face and DMs and then texting in that order. Hey, this isn't this isn't rocket science.

We're just going up to him and saying, "If you want to be on a card, that's it. It's a it's a quick you go in there, ask him that question. This is what I'm doing. Do you want to be on this card? Yes or no?

They'll ask you how much. Tell them the price and go from there. If they say no, all right, have a good day. Here's my info if you change your mind. That's way very, very easy.

Sweet, simple, to the point. Don't waste any time. Talk to the next person that will buy when that one's already giving you a problem saying no. Exactly. It's very It's a very easy business.

Very easy. Yeah. And most of us here are not that we're not. We don't come from a sales background or anything. It's Yeah, most of us suck at sales to be honest.

Some people like Ron are are are awesome, but most of us suck at sales and we're still still doing perfectly fine because the card especially if you go in person, the card sells itself. So if you have a sample, definitely bring that. But there's just so much value in what we're providing and the so the businesses that see the value will will jump right on it. The ones that don't see it, you don't got to try too hard. you're not you're probably not going to overcome many of their objections.

So, don't try to don't don't worry about that. Okay. Experience ever. I never sold anything and it was very easy. Okay.

I mean, just the reason I was asking um like I'm a over the road truck driver full-time. That's what I do. And I'm trying to come off the road because I don't want to I'm missing you know my kids growing up. by being out here on the road and I'm tired of it. And so I'm just trying to figure out something, you know, that will I can set up and get me off the road.

And so like right now I'm driving, you know, I'm on this call and I'm just I I I have my headset. I could easily call people. And so there you go. There you go. That's is I guess I just need to get the scripts down, you know, for calling.

Your script your script should really only be like two sentences. Hey, I'm Jason. I'm sending out a a postcard in so and so town featuring local businesses. Do you want to be on it? Yes or no?

Yep. And then the rest is just the conversation carries itself. Yeah. Don't overthink it, man. You got it.

Appreciate it. Well, there's a there's a couple ways to uh to u to do this, though, guys. the the uh you know, first of all, you got to do something that makes yourself feel comfortable and and you got to explain it in a way that makes yourself feel comfortable. And so some people do it, some people present it in two or three different ways. The one one way that I've presented it that works really well is I kind of make it sound like a a secret club or something that we figured we figured out a system here and we're just asking you to join.

you know, it's like, hey, you know, a group of us local businesses got together and we, you know, we're putting together this card and um we figured out a way to reach people for less than a nickel a door or something like, you know what I mean? Or something like that. And and uh you know, I see you do carpet cleaning and we don't have a carpet cleaner on here. Wanted to see if you wanted to participate with us and and so that now they're participating with us and they're becoming part of the team and part of the group. You know what I mean?

It kind of makes them feel that way. And then the other way I do it is I present it. I'll do like two or three yes questions to get them in the mood of saying yes. You know let's say you walk into a landscaping do uh you know walk into a landscaping company. It's like uh do you do commercial properties?

Yes. Do you do residential properties? Yes. Do you have uh you know do you have a team or do you service this area? Yes.

Well, the reason I was asking is because we, you know, we got this card we're sending out to this group or this area or whatever. You know, just get them in the mood of saying yes before you present. Okay. I like that. I appreciate that, Ron.

Don't overthink it. Exactly. Don't overthink it. Just go and do. I mean, I I literally walked in the first two or three, four, five businesses and just kind of figured out my I knew that I was just going to fall on my face as soon as I walked in because I was just trying to figure it out.

figure out how I wanted to present it. And and uh most people really liked that. um they really related with the uh the one where you know uh they were part of the group you know hey you know a group of us you know a group of us uh businesses and local businesses got together and we figured out a way to reach 10,000 people for a nickel a door you know and uh we're just looking for you know you know a landscaper to to join us or a painter to join us wanted to see if you guys want want to see if you were willing to participate or wanting to participate with and that seems to work really well. And watch your own mail. Um, this past week I got a card, you know, similar to our 9 by12s, but it was half that size.

Uh, so I figured I kind of measured it. It was three of our like $500 ads on both sides for a new cafe and little casino that Illinois allows. And I walked in with it and they said, "We were wondering who got these." And I'm like three pounds over. And I said, "Well, you must be the owner."

They go, "Oh, no. The man the I'm just a manager." but what can you offer? And then when I showed them the sample, they're like, "Oh, the owner's going to be all over this." Well, sure enough, the owner goes, "Hey, we just want to see how the response we get from this, but we'd rather do yours because we're thinking that a lot of people are going to throw it ours out because they don't gamble, but they'll come here for the food."

And I said, "Well, yeah, absolutely." Because the other ads will have foodies on there, and I'm brand new, too. So, I'm like, "Okay." So, they're like, "Well, we're going to be looking at at least three of these, but give us another few weeks to see the response rate we get." And they didn't get that many so far, but they were so excited, they had no idea where it was going.

But I'm thinking if this had to cost um5 $6,000 with printing at least. No, I don't know. I'll find out. It's crazy that they don't know where it's going. Yeah.

They didn't know at all the cities that it was targeting. There's three. No. And but they got three owners. So they said, "Hey, listen.

Our grand opening is next Saturday. Come on over." And then the the um um I guess the head owner will be there. So, I'm going to go back and then have a conversation with him and say, "I'm the one that left that there because it's still sitting on their uh bulletin board." So, well, and another thing is is don't be afraid to once once you have once you have sold and you have some success on there, don't be afraid to pick up your phone and record them telling, you know.

I was just in a a building yesterday in a business yesterday and he was bragging, you know, he he says, "Hey man, we sold two full house kits off of that last mailer you sent out." I whipped out my phone and and started recording and said, "Say that again." You know, and uh and so then he, you know, he straightened up and, you know, tucked in his shirt and, you know, and then and then resaid what he said. He goes, "Yeah, this is Mike with, you know, with Greeny Mountain and and yeah, we used Ron's mailer last week or last, you know, last month." And and we sold two full house kits off of that.

You know, one one house kit was like $47,000. The other one was like $98,000. So he goes, "It's totally worth, you know, doing it." And and then you got, you know, every time you do something like that, you got just more and more ammo to make it easier the next time. And don't be afraid to ask for referrals, too.

like especially if you're using Ron Ron's uh scripts and coming at it as like you're working together to get the card filled then you can like express to them that like you know it takes effort to get this card filled. So if you guys if you know anybody who would be looking to that that could benefit from something like this definitely give me their contact info or have them reach out to me. So you you'd be surprised how many people are happy to help and like give you a bunch of names. Even if they don't uh even if they don't have the people reach out, they give you the contact info instead. Now you can reach out to that referred person and be like, "Hey, uh Johnny from Johnny's Apple Seed just told me you might be interested in this."

Um and then you just go on with the script. So now it's way less of a cold call because they recognize Johnny's name from Johnny Apples Seed. So now you're not just a random person calling them. So, ask for referrals and you'll you'll get a lot of juice out of that, too. Yeah.

Ron said half his last card was referrals. Another thing to remember why um actually the executive director of the chamber here in town kind of told me and kind of hit a hit a a chord with me. He said, you know, a lot of these older business owners like to meet who they're doing business with. So, you really take a look at your area. Do you have new business owners?

Are they new businesses or are they old businesses, those old businesses, those owners are going to want to meet you face to face. They're probably going to want to sit down and have a coffee and get to know you before they say, "Yeah, let's do business." So, because where I am, I have very old, they call it old money in the area. So, there's a lot of in-person meetings and stuff that I'm, you know, working to just even find the business owners. I'm having a hell of a time trying to find All right, I'm going to give you one more tip that's going to just crush.

All righty. All right. I hate giving away all my good stuff, but anyway, this here's here's one that I just crushed with last week is I actually went into the chamber and teamed up with them and offered them $500 to team up and they sent it out to all their chamber members and literally half of them signed up on a car. half half my card was filled with chamber members within a week and um I gave them a discount but I what I did is I raised my prices 10% before I went in and then I gave them a 10% discount um just uh so they have they had a chamber code. It was called chamber 10.

So when they went online and bought their ad or paid for their ad, they just put in the code chamber 10 and got a 10% discount. But now I put a little chamber have a chamber logo now that the chamber gave me that I put on the card. So now it's even more feels more like a community thing. Um people when people see that and I you know I have approval to do that you know because the chamber gave me permission to to use their logo. Yeah.

I'm going I'm going to my chamber in front of all the director meet I'm basically standing up in front of all the directors of the chamber and uh my pre conversations with them is as I'm partnering with them and I've put on you know from having their logo to having like specially designed outlined ads that show off the chamber we're talking partnering on pricing them just do you know me white basically white labeling it for them they you know they worry about it I just give them a hard cost to produce and print and mail and everything. And uh so there's a lot of opportunities. I'm just half the board was out on vacations the last couple weeks. So this is the first opportunity I've had to get in front of all of them. So I'm pretty excited about that.

Happens on Tuesday and I'm uh pretty nervous about it, but pretty excited at the same time. Ron, you said you you paid the chamber 500 bucks for that. Is that like for the month or just like to get on their good side? How how'd that work? Yeah, I just told him I said, "Hey, let's team up on this."

And I said, "Uh, you send this out to everybody and I'll donate $500 to the chamber." Cool. And so, so every time we do a card now with that chamber and they send out a mass email, um, or you know, now she's my biggest cheerleader. Every time somebody signs up with the chamber, she goes, "Oh, have you called Ron yet?" and got on his card.

You know what I mean? And so, so now uh every time I fill out a card and if you know I I I don't even care honestly because like I said for me the card isn't my only sale. But um the you know if I if I've if I got twothirds of the people on there that are from the chamber or something like that, I'll throw them a $500 check. Cool. Nice.

And it's worked out. It's worked out great. And so here here's the oh man, I'm giving away all my Okay, so here here's another good one is I've actually also teamed up with the tourist board and I say, listen, you know, I'll just use a town that I'm that everybody's familiar with. Let's say let's say it's Denver, right? And so, um, I I'll go to the tourist board on Denver and I'll say, "Listen, we're going to send this within an hour outside of Denver and say, "Hey, come spend the weekend in Denver."

And then all the ads on the on the card. See, these can be themed cards. They don't have to be just spotlight cards or just an advertisement card. You could do date night cards. You can do um tourist cards.

Uh, spend the weekend in the valley, spend the weekend in the mountains. I mean, you don't have to do your town. You don't have to do just the just your locals. I mean, you can do this anywhere. That's the reason why everybody's like, "How are you selling a card a week?"

Well, and that's be, you know, because I'm not just doing my town. I'm doing, you know, the local towns. I'm doing, you know, uh, vacation towns. I I contact the tourism board in the vacation towns and I sell those. I mean, there are literally endless cards you could do.

Right now, I think we've done We've done 10 mailings in the last month. And so you literally the possibilities are endless. Yeah, we did one that was uh we did one that was um what was it called? We did one for where um it was like date night or something like that. Uh or treat yourself.

I think it was treat that's what it was. It was treat yourself. And I I went to nothing but high-end restaurants, nothing but spas. um and and stuff like that. So it was like all treat yourself in the weekend, the hot springs, you know, stuff like that.

And so a gym membership one was on there and it was just it was just a themed card. So you can do I mean look at the calendar, you know, when Valentine's Day comes around, set up one for Valentine, set up one for the Fourth of July, set up one for I mean there's literally set up one for anything, whatever you want. I mean, seriously. I mean, it's the the possibilities are endless. Don't just think about the traditional card, you know, set them up in themes.

Who here is doing this as a advertisement for their own business so they can put their own business on the card? I do. Yeah, I do it. Well, I I do Well, I do business coaching. So another word, so that's another foot in the door for me is is I knock, you know, I knock a home run for their advertising and then I'm like, hey, I mean that's just that's just the beginning.

So if you want business coaching on how to grow your business or double your business in the next 6 months, you know, call me. And so I advertise on the card one business, but I also advertise to the businesses that I've sold on the card other stuff. the Trojan horse for a lot. Yeah, absolutely. Hey Mitch, can I ask something else on a side note?

Totally. Yeah. If I get um 16 ads um and I'm so not techy and I don't know Canvas. Um I know you have said, "Hey, you'll do that." Where is it?

As I get the deals, send them to you and then you guys do it. Yep. Yeah. So, yeah. So, you can do it one at a time.

You don't have to wait till you have the full card finished that because I know some of your advertisers are going to want to like see it right away, right? So, yeah, you would go to 9 by12method.comdesign. Okay. All right.

So, if Yeah, if they're just standard ad slots, it's just $25 a piece. It's And you get unlimited re revisions till you're happy. Got it. And then you'll do the printing and mailer. Yep.

Correct. Yep. That would be you're able to find that on 9 by12 method.com as well. Yeah.

Okay. Cuz this other friend said, "Oh, she'll do it and split it with me, but just cuz I'm she found you guys first." But now I'm like, "Yeah, but she wants to charge $800 for the 4x3 and I'm like, I can't get that." You know, 800 bucks to to design one 4x3. No, to to charge the uh the merchant, the customer.

Instead of your usual 500 for that size, she wants to do that for 800 and then do the bigger one that we charge maybe 900. She wants to do that for 13. And I'm like, "Oh this is way to me that's expensive." And it's definitely steep. Yeah, I like I like the 500.

It's it's well within most small businesses budgets because at that point, even if you're offering 10,000 cards, $800 for 10,000 cards might be a better value than $500 for 5,000 cards, but it's not even about the value at that point. It's their budget. Like, some businesses aren't just aren't going to trust you with $8 to $1,300 of their money on the first time. Exactly. Okay.

B. How about the design? Thank you. Yeah, no problem. Is anybody setting up like a directory website trying to get into the online space and take up space there?

Yeah, I do online as well. Yeah, I do. Yeah, I'm doing online. I do on I I help them with their social media campaigns. I do um again all this leads all all this is nothing but funnels for leading them down to one-on-one coaching.

Yeah. Yeah. So, you have a I mean, do you do you run ads? Yeah. Yeah, I run ads.

Okay. All right. Good. Because you have you have a a very large LTV to work with because I'm sure your coaching clients pay a decent amount of money. Yeah.

Yeah. I charge about $10,000 to do the one-on-one coaching. So, it's a big ticket item. But, uh um yeah, it works out. It works out pretty well.

the and and again for anybody that's doing, you know, I don't want to I don't want to knock people that are just trying to do this the 9 by12 by themselves for the first time. I mean, if you're doing just the 9x12, you can be very profitable. You can easily make 5 10 grand a month just doing the 9 by12s and nothing else and no experience. Yeah, I I a lot of people know that I've I've owned over 40 companies and yeah, I you know, I've done all that stuff. And so, but but ignore all that because you literally don't need any of that to sell.

You know, I didn't tell anybody about my coaching when I when I grabbed the first card, my sample card, and I went in and sold the sold the first businesses and sold the first three cards in three weeks. I didn't talk to anybody about my background. I didn't talk to anybody about what I did. I didn't talk to him about mentoring giants. I just talked to him just strictly about the card.

And so, yeah, you can totally make a good living just selling the card and nothing else. Yeah, this could be I mean, it's a perfect lifestyle business for just about anybody. If you're trying to retire, couple hours a day, you can make a decent retirement income with this and have a solid lifestyle. If you're a truck driver on the road all day long, you can still make sales and and while you're just making phone calls, like it fits any lifestyle possible. We have Michael who I interviewed on the YouTube channel where he did all of his work basically during his lunchtime and then he did a little bit after work and that's another way to live the life.

But there's so many different things you can do and you you can you know the amount of action you put in is the the results you get out of it. That's what I like the most about. We got a winter home. We got a winter home. We got a summer home, you know, and so you can sell both both areas.

Doesn't matter. I mean, like I said, you doesn't have you don't even have to be I know people that live in a van and can do it. I mean, you can just drive to a town and just do it from a van. Heck, you don't I mean, there's no excuse. It's not sales.

It's not any of that stuff. It's just getting out there and doing it. just I see a lot of people that are uh and paralysis, you know, and and you got to you got to get over that crap. Just get in there and freaking make it happen. Just just start picking up the phone or walking in a business and just know that you're going to fall in your face.

You can practice. You can practice a couple of times if you want, but you're not going to get on a bike for the first time and just know how to ride a bike. Same thing here. You're going to have to fall stumble a couple of times. You're going to get a couple of question.

Well, why should I do that? or you're going to get questions that you're not expecting and you're not going to have a good answer for and then you come back and you practice and you get a good answer for it. So the next time you got it, you got a good rebuttal in your, you know, in your in your toolkit. Totally. And for the people who have never like ran a business before and this is their first business, they might be thinking that they need to, you know, write up a business plan and have a plan for how they're going to grow it and how they're going to scale it.

But the thing is this literally it opens doors for you. writes the business plan for you because eventually advertisers are going to be like, "Hey, are you going to be doing this in this town over here? There's an opportunity for you to scale over to another town already." Some advertisers are going to ask if you do social media advertising. Hey, do you design websites?

Like, it opens doors for you. So, you don't need to plan in advance for that. Just get the first card going and the opportunities come to you. For sure. I got a so you know I had that directory idea here and uh I saw I didn't like that pl that the the platform I was trying to build it on.

I didn't like the way everything was coming out. So I decided to re-evaluate that that plan and I' I've got a real interesting concept that I hope to introduce to my local area towards the end of the year. It's one of the main driving factors of hiring somebody so I can focus on seeing that through to the end. But it it essentially gifies local deals and gets the local community more engaged with local businesses outside of just having the mailer. So I'll be interested to keep uh the 9 by12 community uh updated on that as it comes starts to come out.

that yeah, it's gonna it's going to help businesses all all the way around. So, it's going to be interesting. I just want to say thanks for all your help, guidance, support. You guys are all great. This community is great and with the tips and everything.

I don't want to overthink it, but you guys are great. Thank you. My pleasure. Thanks for always being real quick. I don't know if you shared it on the the uh group um but could you share your just your background a little bit, Mitch?

like my personal background came across this and got it started and everything. Yeah. Okay. So, yeah. I mean, just a little bit.

You don't got to go into details. Yeah. Yeah. So, let's see. I went to college.

I became a real estate agent. I'm in a real estate family and I was enjoying real estate and I still do. But the first year, if anybody's done real estate, they know the first year as a real estate agent is very slow, especially when you're in a new town, which I was. I I just moved to this town a couple years ago, so I didn't have a ton of connections and it's it's a pretty slow process. So, I was baby I was pretty strapped for cash and I actually my mom pointed out a video on YouTube.

She was like, "Hey, I I I saw this like thing. It might be like a pyramid scheme or something about like making money with postcards." And she showed me the video and it was Jake's video. So, I watched his that one video of him just explaining what the what the 9x12 method is. And then from there, I that same day just started uh Facebook messaging and emailing businesses in the town that I already knew and made a couple sales right then.

So, that's really how I got into the 9x12 method just because I was in a situation a ton of people in our group are already in which I was strapped for cash and needed quick cash and this is like the best way to do that. It's straight action equals results. No quick, no long setup process, nothing like that. So, yeah, that's my story of how I got here. Mitch, are you putting the replays on you YouTube or in the 9 by12 school group?

Yeah, both. So, I I actually added a chapter to the uh 9 by12 postcard sales mastery course, the one that all of you have access to. It's at the the very bottom. It's the last chapter and it's going to be it's the replays of all of our live calls throughout history. So, you'll be able to find them all there, but I also they they're on YouTube.

They're just links. Okay. Thanks. Yep. Mike Kaine asked, "Who provides the creative?

Do we provide it?" In a lot of Oh, looks like you're going to ask me anyway, but in in a lot of cases, um, the business is going to prefer to send you an ad anyway. You just have you want to be very specific about the dimensions because you got to be specific. 3.8 8 in tall by 2.

8 in wide. You got to say tall and wide. Otherwise, they'll send you the wrong configuration and it'll and it'll be embarrassing. So, be specific about that. But in in other cases, uh you would either be respons I mean you run your business how you want, but this is how I run my business.

I offer ad design for free if they want it. So, you could either learn to use Canva if you don't already know how to use it. And you could also just hire a designer. We we offer design services. is 25 bucks per ad slot, which is pretty basically the going rate and you get unlimited revisions.

So, you have options. So, definitely don't don't let that be something that stops you from going and making sales because you you'll have options that you can figure out down the road. Yeah, for sure. Thanks. What are the dimensions for the the larger size?

So, for the double slot, it is uh 3.8 in tall by 5.8 in wide. 5.8.

Yeah, perfect. Thank you. No problem. Yeah. And definitely don't don't upsell ad design.

Ron Ron pointed that out. Don't don't add more friction. Don't don't ask them to pay you extra for ad design. That should just be part of the service. Turnaround time for ad design.

If you're if we're talking one ad slot, 24 to 48 hours. Sometimes it can be same day though. Just depends how how busy we are. Joey asked, "Do we stretch them to fit or will they kind of stretch when print like ink bleed?" Um, if you're using my template in the group, you would just click the corner like the top left corner and just drag it until it lines up perfectly with the the black, you know, little templates.

And I like to add a a fivepoint border to it just to give it a kind of rounded border. I feel like that looks a little better. Hopefully that answers your question. Billy asks, "Has anyone used Facebook posts rather than ads? Like post to business groups in the desired towns?"

I could say I've Yeah, posted on definitely post on Facebook groups. Business Facebook groups don't usually do very well because it's literally all just they nobody hangs in those groups. Those are just businesses that are like posting their ads. So, you're just going to be another ad in the group full of ads that nobody hangs out at. So, you'll want to find the groups that are like public groups, like named after your town, that allow for ads.

Sometimes they only allow you to advertise on a certain day of the week. Definitely post in those and you you'll make a couple sales if you use a proper post. And in the course that you guys have access to, I have the exact post that I've made that you can just copy and paste. It's very simple. Oh, Andio asked what card layout seems to be working the best.

Um, and they're asking if you should have any ad slots smaller than this. So, this is the the 4x3 or 2.8x 3.8 ad slot. He's asking if we should like split it up into three and have even smaller ad slots.

I personally I know some people do do this. I personally don't because I noticed it was just as hard to close three of these little guys or just as hard to close one of these little guys as it was to close a full one. So, it just tripled the amount of work to sell out the same amount of space. It wasn't worth it for me personally, but some people do it. And you you technically would increase your profit a little bit because if you typically sell this for 500, you could sell these little slots for 200 each.

So then you're making 600 instead of 500. But it's in my opinion, it's a lot more work. Thank you guys. Thanks for being here. This is a good one.
